The nexus lead was perfect with this song. Bass is so sexy in this one <3

Beat is really nice and simple though you can maybe add a little cymbal percussion. Some slight muddiness though it doesn't bother me too much in this song. Im still giving this a 5/5 anyway.

This song is pretty much dominated by this guy's synths: https://sites.google.com/site/ddrkirby/music/resources They are fantastic for chiptune stuff. The only think I'm kinda stuck on is making decent chiptune drums. Apparently there are some good plugins that can do it. Haven't dug too deeply yet.

That melody was a delight. I wrote something a lot worse and was thinking of tossing it, then started changing it a little and was suddenly like "whoa this sounds pretty cool."

The sounds you used i really like but same thing, its just the same thing over and again. Maybe try and add some variation perhaps.

About leads. I noticed in your response to my review on your latest song (lol NG makes it hard to continue conversations) that you mentioned that you don't know music theory so you can't write good leads. I don't think music theory is as important as you think. I know a fair bit of music theory, but pretty much never use it in my songs. I just put down notes that I think are right.

What *is* important is that I usually go through a lot of iterations of melodies. The first melody that seems so simple actually came in the middle of writing that really long solo - I tore it out later. That really long solo wasn't even my first really long solo (I threw out some earlier ones). When I wrote the solo, I 'sketched it out' first to see the whole idea through, then went back and slowly refined it.

I feel like I got kind of lucky here, a lot of things worked really nicely together. You should hear my latest song, it's total crap. xD

1:13 is a bit loud. Maybe turn down the cubes a bit. 0:40 was an awesome transition. You certainly must know sytrus alot.

Loving the bass kick thought maybe give it more of a punch is just my suggestion. I am very impressed your use of the arps too.
